December 14thMultilateralismWe chose multilateralism because there were many different rescuers associated with this globle issue. Including military helicopters, snowmobiles and heavy trucks to help all these people get unstuck. Ontario Provincial Police removed 237 people from their stranded vehicles on the highway near Sarnia on tuesday night. According to Canada's foreign policy number 4. Powerful winds, heavy snow and freezing cold temperatures in Ontario, people couldn't get warm. Motorists were picked up by police helicopters and then were trasported to a warm fire hall near by. Three hundred people were trapped along a 30-kilometre stretch between the Sarnia city and Kerwood Road, just outside Lambton County. Wind gusts were up to 78% recorded at the Sarnia airport. Some motorists had been stuck in snowdrifts along Highway 402 since Monday afternoon. Most didnt even want to leave their vehicles. If Canadian's weren't so generous then most of those people would still be in thier cars waiting for the weather to get better.
Hello and good morning fellow readers. In today’s paper you will be reading interviews that I had with citizens from the French Revolution. My first interview was with Mr. Prancous, who is a member of the Clergy. Here is how it went;
Myself: Mr. Prancous, what is your role in France today? Mr. Prancous: Myself and other members of the clergy perform many essential public functions such as running schools, keeping records of vital statistics, being priests within church’s and dispensing relief to the poor. Myself: Mr. Prancous, it appears that yourself and other members of the Clergy have an important role! How many Clergy members make up the population of France? Mr. Prancous: The Clergy is the most important class in France today. Alongside with some of our other responsibility’s, we collect taxes from peasands and keep them in line. Although the Clergy makes up only .5% of the population of France, we have the most power and control. Myself: Well that’s very interesting, Mr. Prancous, but correct me if im wrong but isn’t it true that extremely high taxes is a big reason why the estate that your part of has such great power? Mr. Prancous: That is not the only reason, but they do help with our army and our personal expenses. We own about 15% of France lands, and peasants who live on these lands receive a tithing tax of 10%. And on top of that, they pay taxes to the church and bread is prices high. We have those peasants wrapped around our fingers! Myself: Well Mr. Prancous id like to thank you for your time and knowledge and that’s all I have for you today!
Now that we have views from a high class member of the controlling Clergy, lets see what Mr. Jaquos from the Nobility has to say:
Myself: Mr. Jaquos, how much power does the Nobility’s have? Mr. Jaquos: We being the Nobilty have a state privileged status which is generally hereditary. We have more power than the peasants, but less than the Clergy. Myself: Well that makes sence, but how much of France does the Nobility own, and how? Mr. Jaquos: The Nobility owns about 25% of France. Members of the Nobility sometimes inherit one or more estates, large or small. And if they are not inherited, some of the members of the Nobility have just simply worked hard for their belongings, such as myself. Myself: What kind of privileges does the Nobility have? Mr. Jaquos: Well privileges associated with Nobility may constitute substantial advantages over or relative to non-nobles. We are able to vote with the Clergy, while the peasants have no voice in our economics. Myself: Id like to thank your for your honest answers and time Mr. Jaquos.
Just when you though this interview was over, we have one more voice to be heard. This interview I had spoken with Mr. Francous, who is a member of the Commoners. Here is how it went down:
Myself: Mr. Francous, what do you think about the taxes that you and your fellow Commoners pay? Mr. Francous: What do I think? I think they are unfair and way too high! Us “peasants”, or whatever people label us spend almost all of our income on taxes, and what’s left of our low salaries goes to overpriced bread that we can hardly afford! Myself: Well that’s very unfortunate Mr. Francous, but can I ask you on who receives yourselves and other Commoners taxes? Mr. Francous: The stupid Clergy! We are what they say to be the lowest class, but really we are the ones that make France what it is! We work long days for low wages and all the money we make gets taken away and put towards our unfair government! Myself: Well that’s very unfair Mr. Jaquos, but must I ask what does a commoners daily life consist of? Mr. Francous: Work, work and more work. But other than that, us Commoners hold true to our village, families and church. My ancestors and I have spent our lives within 50km’s of our village. I work long hours everyday, pay taxes and usually my wife is responsible for putting bread on the table. All I know is im tired of this style of life, and something’s got to change. Myself: Well I hope things work out for the best Mr. Francous. Thank you.

Marijuana Laced Ice-Cream hits shelves in California
Summary: Shop owner in California makes marijuana laced ice-cream for people who are legally aloud to purchase. Up to 2-3 doses of marijuana in each order, with a variety of different flavours for $15 dollars an order. The wise man that opened this store's name is Jonathan Kolodinski, and he claims it has been a goal of his for a long time.
This topic does not effect me in any way, if anything, good for the creator! He is following the law, by only selling his product to U.S. card-carrying medical marijuana patients, and he is making their typical marijuana doses tasty and delicious! In my opinion, noone should have an issue with this topic. If hospitals can give out medicinal marijuana to patients who need it, why cant someone like Jonathan Kolodinski deliver peoples doses in a more flavourful way!? I believe this made front page in the Calgary Herald because something like that is unheard of in most places in the world, but all the power to Jon! Heck yaa!
Summary: Police in Britain have confirmed a man that was killed in a segway scooter accident was the owner of the company. Millionare James William Heselden was pronounced dead September 26th. Witnesses say the 61 year old may have fallen off the cliff, while other speculations say that he was testing a new version of the segway scooter.
I believe that this death made news to show how dangerous the modern segway scooters can be! Owners should be more cautious when they are using their powered scooters, because a simple accident like Heselden's can turn deadly. Although the real story is still unknown, maybe if the owner used proper precautions and safety while he was using his scooter things would not have ended so badly, or maybe the segway scooter company does not use proper advertisement with the safety and precautions that should be taken seriously by the owners of these segway scooters.

Shane,
Don't forget all the details in your summary. Example September 26, 2010? or September 26, 1998? Also, how do you feel about this issue? Good job.
